Dr. Raziq Yaqub earned a Ph.D. in Wireless Communication from Keio University, Japan, and a MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickenson University, NJ. With his technical expertise and business knowledge, Dr. Yaqub, has developed an on demand training package 4G/LTE (Long Term Evolution) 4G/LTE (Long Term Evolution) working with key members of the IEEE standards body. Raziq is a Senior Systems Engineer and Industry Standards Expert in Advanced Telecommunications Systems. His accomplishments as the Executive Director of Research are numerous and his in the field of Wireless Communication have a direct impact for Toshiba Corporation. Raziq continues to serve on various technical boards including Telcordia Technologies as a Senior Systems Engineer and Standards Expert. He was the founder and Principle Member of the TARI Patent Evaluation and Review Board. His participation and contributions to several standard bodies, include, 3GPP, WiMAX, OMA and IEEE has enabled him to receive numerous awards for his endless activities. Recently he received “Innovators Award” from the Governor of the State of New Jersey, USA, through New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame, for making extra ordinary contributions to the advancement of knowledge and human welfare. His name also appeared in several volumes of “Who is Who in the World”. With more than 16 years in the telecommunications industry, Dr. Yaqub has a proven record of guiding large international corporations like Nokia, KDDI, and Toshiba to greater productivity and profitability.
